Chetan Datta Poduri has with him varied experience in academics and research. He did his PhD (Biotechnology) (2002) from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Subsequently, he taught Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology, and allied subjects to BTech, MTech & Doctoral students across India for about 10 years [IITG* (2002 – 2005), JUIT (2006 – 2012), SNIST* (2015 – 2016) & LFDC (2022)]. In addition, he has some research experience from premier government institutes like CCMB, Hyderabad, India, and private institutions like CLRD, DMC, Hyderabad, India & CBST/VIT, Vellore, India.

Chetan has about 29 publications in international and national journals on various aspects of science. Chetan has also authored two academic books titled ‘Essays in Science – Immunology‘ (Horizon Research Publishing Corporation, San Jose, CA, USA, 2017) and ‘Essays in Science – The Basics‘ (Lap Lambert Academic Publishing, 2019).

Chetan was also involved with local publishers in Hyderabad, India. Chetan’s work involved developing and reviewing of content for (Physical) Sciences aimed at high school and college students and teachers.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic that throttled Planet Earth a few years ago, CDP completed a course on Creative Writing with British Council, India.
